A third film reboot of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is in the works at Warner Brothers, with Paul King, who directed the Paddington movies, in talks to helm, according to Variety. The book, first published in 1964, centers on 11-year-old Charlie Bucket, who is among five kids invited on a tour of eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka's factory after finding a golden ticket in a Wonka Bar. Serenity, the big screen drama/thriller starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway, has been given an awards season release date of September 28, according to Deadline.
