USA Network has renewed the crime drama Shooter for a third season, according to Deadline. The second season of the series -- about an exiled marksman who's coaxed back into the business to prevent a plot to assassinate the president -- was shortened from 10 episodes to eight after its star, Ryan Phillippe, broke his leg. Season three reportedly will consist of 13 episodes and pick up where season two left off. A premiere date has yet to be announced...

ABC and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on Monday that the 90th Oscars telecast will now begin at 8 p.m. ET -- a half-hour earlier than prior telecasts. Jimmy Kimmel will once again host the show, airing Sunday, March 4 on ABC...
