Danielle Brooks may be a A Little Bit Pregnant, but the Orange Is the New Black actress has big plans after she gives birth to her baby girl.

Brooks, who served as a producer on Broadway's Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations musical, tells ABC Audio that she definitely wants to be more behind the scenes for future projects.

"It takes nine to 10 months to birth a child. It's gonna take time to birth projects as well," Brooks says. "And it feels overnight so many times when you're watching people on TV and seeing them create their own projects and you think it happens overnight."

"And it does not," she continued. "So for me I am building those steps to do those things. I definitely want to direct... and I definitely want to continue to produce on a larger scale... So you'll see more of [me]. Definitely for sure."

Of course, until then, fans can see Brooks' current journey to motherhood in her upcoming Netflix Family series A Little Bit Pregnant.

A Little Bit Pregnant, which will be available on Netflix’s main YouTube channel as well as all Netflix Family social media channels, is set to launch in November.
