FEMA and WEM Inspections

The Federal Emergency Management Agency and Wisconsin Emergency Management will begin inspecting sites damaged by flooding today. 

Officials will be assessing damage to public infrastructure and determine the cost of damage in Ashland, Iron and Bayfield counties as well as the Bad River Lodge and Casino Convention Center. 

Officials are expected to take the entire day inspecting the sites. Inspections are also scheduled for Burnett, Price, Sawyer and Washburn counties. Local officials have estimated damage to be in excess of $34 Million.
