A Cameron man is free on bond after being arrested for purchasing methamphetamine from a confidential informant working with police.

37-year old Tim Morgan of Cameron contacted the informant last Wednesday, asking to buy meth to sell to others in Barron County.

Morgan purchased 1.5 ounces of meth from the informant and bragged about how he could sell it within 90 minutes.

Morgan was arrested after the transaction and charged with Possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and 2 counts of Federal bail jumping related to previous meth cases.

According to Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald, Morgan had been a target of investigators for several months in connection with meth trafficking.
