Ralph Koser, 91, of Almena, passed away on May 27th.

Ralph Koser was born November 6, 1925, in Almena to Herman and Millie Koser and is perhaps best know as the owner and operatore, along with his brother Bob, of Koser Silo Works in Almena, building up to 200 silos a year, along with liquid manure storage facilities for over 30  years, employing over 50 people.

He is survived by his four sons, Mark and Kim Koser of rural Eleva, Craig and Lynn Koser of Menomonie, Don and Lisa Koser of Hayward, and Brian and Pam Koser of Austin, Minnesota; and a daughter, Sheila Harris of Fargo Minnesota; also a sister, Myrt Ruse of Coldwater, Michigan and a brother Bob and Marianne Koser of Barnes Wisconsin, along with 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Raph Koser will be held at Salem Lutheran Church on Thursday at 11am with Pastor Karl Yahr officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery in Almena. Military honors will be accorded by Almana VFW Post #8512.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm Wednesday at the Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland and from 10am to 11am Thursday at the church.
